The way this works:
There are many cowboy Electricians who change fuse boards at rip off prices or have cheep prices and then “find” reasons to charge extra.
When changing a fuse board the electrician has to take responsibility for the circuits being left in a safe condition, the way we do this is to first have a quick visual inspection, if there is nothing obvious that would prevent us from replacing the fuse board we will then proceed to testing the circuits, if the circuits test come back fine we then upgrade the fuse board.
If we find any reasons why we could not replace your fuse board we would have found them before taking the existing board off the wall.
We could then ether leave the existing board as it was and leave the job with no charge or quote for any work that would be required.
